Review of Meeting, Friday - 12/04/2009

Greetings Amigos

At our last meetng the vicar for Hispanic ministry, Msgr. Jorge de los Santos, came to visit and speak with the group. He reflected on the differen levels of the Church, both in Denver and around the world. In paricular, he reflected on the story of the Prodigal Son.

The second half of the meeting involved practicing Christmas carols. We spent some time learning Silent Night, Holy Night as well as a Spanish carol. Next week we will bake Christmas cookies and practice our caroling once again. The week after, we will host the Posada celebration and will have the opportunity to share our cookies and our singing.

Exciting news! This last meeting was our largest meeting to date. We had fourteen youth present. If you have been away and are interested in coming back, just show up or give me a call. Jesus is waiting for you.

At the right hand side of the page you will find our December calendar for Amigos de Jesus meeting.

Finally, on December 23, we will have our Amigos de Jesus Christmas dinner. Mark your calendars.

Here are some images from our last meeting...

Peace,

Br. Joseph
