Amigos,

I know that last Friday evening Alejandra went over with you the upcoming events in the parish. She said that you were committed to helping and participating. Please check with parents, mark your calendars, and arrange for a ride on the following dates and times...

Friday, December 18
Amigos de Jesus hosts Posada in the Church at 6:00 pm
Plan to arrive no later than 5:00 pm
Refreshments will follow in the Hope Room (the cookies we baked)

Saturday, December 19
Amigos de Jesus assists in the Confirmation Year II classes at 4:15 pm
The youth group will hand out Christmas gifts to the Confirmation students.
Youth Mass following at 6:00 pm
After Mass, there will be a candle light procession and Posada celebration 

Monday, December 21
Amigos de Jesus will bake cookies in the afternoon at the request of Fr. Francisco
A Posada celebration will follow at 6:00 pm in the Church, refreshments afterwards 

Tuesday, December 22
Amigos de Jesus participates in Holy Hour at 6:00 pm
Posada with the Capuchin Franciscans at 7:00 pm at their Friary

Wednesday, December 23
Amigos de Jesus Christmas Dinner at 5:00 pm

We are entering into one of the holiest and most beautiful liturgical seasons in the Church year. I really hope and pray that all of you make every effort to be present during these times of prayer and celebration. They will help you to prepare your hearts for the joyful coming of the Christ child this Christmas.
