Preparing for Pentecost

NOTE: It has been quite awhile since I updated this page. I apologize, but I have been very busy with exams, my retreat, and traveling. I have added the photos and a brief snippet about the past three sessions. That brings everything up to date. As always, join us on Facebook for more photos, videos, etc.

The theme was preparing for Pentecost at the regular session of the Amigos de Jesus youth group on Friday, May 28. The group met in the very warm and humid Hope Room at Annunciation Catholic Church. As usual, the session began with the prayer so dear to the heart of our Immaculate Mother - the Rosary.

Following the prayer, the youth went outside for a couple of icebreakers before breaking up into the two smaller groups for discussion and reflection on Sunday's Gospel reading. The reading focused on the coming of the Holy Spirit at Pentecost, the birthday of the Church.

Afterward, everyone regrouped in the Hope Room for sharing and prayer. The session ended at 8:00 pm with cookies.
