Class, Mass and Dinner at Denny's

A large number of youth from Amigos de Jesus were present to help lead activities for the Confirmation year II class at Annunciation Church on Saturday. The youth facilitated a game in which the teens worked together, using physical gestures, voices, and a little intelligence to come up with human machines. The exercise was a lot of fun and helped to demonstrate the importance of teamwork and the unique and important role each individual has in making up the Body of Christ. The Amigos de Jesus also helped lead small group discussions among the Confirmation teens.

After class, the youth group attended the 6:00 p.m. youth Mass at the parish, helping to hand out hymnals, parish bulletins, as well as ushering and presenting the offertory gifts.

Following Mass, the youth piled into vans, sedans and pickup trucks and headed over to Denny's for a late supper. This particular Saturday, one of the Denny's in Arvada was pledging 10% of all proceeds to the Catholic youth ministries of Denver.
